A CHAT WITH ANTHIA KOULLOROS FROM OVVIO ORGANICS
This week's kitchen inspiration comes in the form of naturopath, herbalist and Ovvio Organics founder Anthia Koulloros. This inspiring health advocate and tea aficionado preaches a perfectly no-nonsense approach to health and lifestyle through her Ovvio Organic Health & Lifestyle Store and Naturopathic Clinic.
Anthia's holistic health journey began when, as little girl she spied a faded nutritional manual on her parents bookshelf. From that serendipitous moment, the seed was sown and it became her quest to learn, discover and share as much as she could about health and nutrition. And we love her simple, no-nonsense approach!
Traditional dietary foundations offered in an honest and informative manner are at the core of Anthia's business philosophy. Education is integral, as is her sustainable, fad-free approach to achieving a healthy mind and body.
In 2014, Anthia wrote her successful book - "I Am Food - Eating Your Way To Health". In her own words, this inspiring book looks at food as medicine, offering simple health tips and nutritious recipes for fueling your mind and body with fresh, seasonal produce.
While studying to become a naturopath, Anthia was fortunate to work with renowned tea pioneer Penelope Sach of Penelope Sach Organic Tea. Under her tutelage, Anthia learned all she could about the art of tea blending, awakening a spirit and passion that would be fundamental in the creation of the Ovvio Organics range of teas.
With her eyes wide open to all possibilities, Anthia has taken her Ovvio brand from strength to healthy strength. The Ovvio range of hand-blended, therapeutic, certified organic teas, herbs and spices are sublime! Traditionally prepared to preserve the natural goodness and therapeutic properties of the ingredients, they contain only the finest flowers, fruits, seeds and leaves to provide a flavour for all taste-buds.
All Ovvio teas are fresh, clean and free from nasties, sourced from organic farms the world over and hand-blended in the Ovvio warehouse in Alexandria. Ovvio Organic tea is blended with love and respect - and the end result is a range of simply stunning teas for detoxification, restoration, clarity, energy and calm. Cheers to that!
Ovvio The Organic Health & Lifestyle Store and Naturopathic Clinic sits nestled in the heart of Sydney's Paddington. Reminiscent of a quaint teahouse, this haven of tranquility and health offers more than just a seriously good cup of tea!
Anthia's belief system of working with only the best ingredients for good health and in sync with the environment is very much at the heart of the VIVE Cooking School ethos. With a minefield of information accessible in this digital age, it's refreshing to find a voice that is willing to strip back the clutter to clear the way for real change.
We are thrilled to present our Ovvio Organics High Tea this coming Sunday - and with only a few spots left, we urge you to book here now!
